ZUMARI

A story found by BRIAN KARANI

In Nairobi's toughest slum, a young man summons the courage to change his life and discovers peace in an unlikely place.

ZUMARI follows a day in the life of skilled musician and Korogocho slum resident Elvis John Otieno. A community music program brings opportunity for the creatively inclined amongst the 300,000 currently living in the slum. Having overcome insurmountable odds, Elvis seeks to continue down a musical path, with dreams to be known around the world.
